I know it's been a while since I posted any new topics on this page. The reason for this is that I have been training to become the best shooter I can be, in order to pass on more knowledge and experience to you. This has required a lot of my attention. So here's something for you to think about:
This time, I would like to talk about commitment to the sport of shooting. Since I started shooting in late 1998, I have noticed how many people come and go in the sport. Some of them leave for personal reasons, some of them leave because they do not win. It's not all about winning! As many of you know, you will have ups and downs in this sport as well as in your personal life. If you quit before you can win, then how can you ever win? You have to stick with it, enjoying your successes, and learning from every setback along the way. The main thing is, Don't ever quit!
Not only does there have to be commitment by you, the shooter, but you must have reliable equipment. Your handgun, magazines, ammunition, holster, etc, all need to be very reliable.
I strongly feel that a big part of the training I pass on to you establishes great self esteem and confidence in your equipment. It encourages you not to give up and most of all makes you a much better shooter than you ever thought you could be.
